Head of Paid Search, PPC Strategist, Remarketing Ads, SEO, SEM, Google Adsense at 6G Internet - Air Fibre Broadband via Radio Waves
January 1995 - December 19956G Network: We have a national fibre network that is lit with DWDM that serves our national distribution nodes. Completely resilient core network with a national figure of eight topology supplying fully resilient optical paths. We lease dark fibre nationally from various tier 1 carriers to create the figure of eight topology. All houses do speak back to a tall building on a one to one basis. In a city/town there are several tall buildings serving end users, and the users will more than likely have the potential of 'speaking' to several tall buildings. At the point of install the installation engineer will choose the best available tall building to connect the house to. The 6G website does its job in getting the concept of the service over to non-technical end users with out being too technical, it is not a manual on how the network is built unfortunately. We use the design fundamentals of access, distribution and core network topologies. Each tall building is essentially both the distribution and access building utilising several different types of radio technology and each tall building is strung together in city wide deployments in a resilient fashion with at least two inbound/outbound feeds, and each tall building can be served with tens of gigabits if required, depending on the customer base being served from said tall building. But essentially the 6G network is planned and built with service provider/carrier class knowledge and equipment. The topology that you describe is what we would expect to see in a normal 2.4 GHz wireless deployment in a mesh topology which inherently has the issues that you have talked about.

January 1995 - December 1995What are Virtual Numbers? A virtual number in the simplest sense is a telephone number that is not directly connected to a telephone line. Virtual numbers allow companies to maintain a virtual presence in locations outside of their area. For customers Virtual Numbers look and act exactly like numbers attached to a physical line. Example - Company X is based in Manchester (0161) they do a lot of work in London and New York. They want to present a local presence in London and want to enable customers from New York to call local rates. As the company is based in Manchester there is no possible way that they could achieve these results. Using Tpad's virtual number service both these results can be easily achieved, we can provide a local London number (0203) which is pointed directly at the companies Manchester office. Using the same service we can also provide a New York number for customers in New York to call Company X at local rates.

PPC Strategist, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, Twitter Business Ads at Tpad Ltd | Client SIP Trunking / IP PBX System
January 1995 - December 1995What is a SIP Trunk / SIP Trunking SIP Trunking is an efficient use of data connectivity to make voice calls through a SIP provider such as Tpad. Typically your existing phone system uses PRI lines (ISDN). These are separate lines to your data network that are purely used for your telephone system. These lines are installed in pairs (ISDN 2) or in groups such as an (ISDN 30). This type of line has a monthly rental and allows you the user to make or receive 1 call per line (ISDN allowing 2 concurrent calls and ISDN 30 allowing 30 concurrent calls.) The main considerations with this type of connectivity is that you are limited to the amount of lines you have, and also the rental cost is fixed per month, even if you do not use the line, the rental remains. Over the recent years there has been significant developments in telephony and more businesses such as yours are considering SIP Trunking for two reasons, increased capacity and flexibility, and to reduce on-going fixed costs. Tpad is a provider of SIP services to business throughout the UK. We work with our clients to move away from expensive and restrictive aged systems to more up-to-date connectivity options and systems. SIP Trunking gives flexibility without reducing customer experience and also provides significant cost savings by reducing line and call costs.

January 1995 - December 1995Inbound Services By definition, non geographic numbers do not correspond to a specific geographic location. The owner of the number can target the non geographic number to any existing landline or mobile telephone number. The principal benefit of a non geographic number is that it is allocated and managed by the company receiving calls, so that calls can be routed intelligently to a location with the necessary resources to process those calls effectively helping you manage out of hours or busy periods with scheduled call routing and divert options together with call queuing facilities and optional automated attendant announcements. Calls can be routed dynamically to different destinations according to the time of day, day of week and date. Calls may also be routed more intelligently by using features such as the caller's location, the nature of the call or by the volume of calls received.

January 1995 - October 1995Interactive Voice Response IVR stands for Interactive Voice Response and is a system used to partially or fully automate your incoming calls. It is a lot more sophisticated than an auto attendant with which it is often confused. An auto attendant allows callers to be transferred to a specific line without the intervention of a human operator whereas the IVR system uses speech recognition and detects voice as well as dual-tone multi-frequency signalling (DTMF) keypad inputs. IVR systems intelligently interact with callers, gathering information and then routing them to the appropriate line. Tpad offers bespoke IVR systems that will instantly benefit your company. Rather than using an outdated auto-attendant, an IVR system will allow you to answer 100% of your calls, meaning that your customers are kept happy and your business remains booming. As well as offering a world-class IVR solution, Tpad can also organise professional voicing and scripting, bespoke menu options and all the rest of the little details. For more information on how an IVR system could benefit your business, simply give us a call today.

January 1994 - December 1994Call Recording In order to assist in reducing the incidence of market abuse in the UK markets and also increase market confidence and protect consumers the FSA have brought in regulations for compliance with call recording. Calls must be kept for a minimum of 3 years from the date of creation and kept in such away they at easily accessed for future reference. Tpad On Demand Call Recording On demand call recording, unlike other kinds of call recording, focuses on recording outbound call only. This gives your business a simple way of analysing and observing how your calling agents handle their outbound calls. You can identify strengths and weaknesses of the agents. On demand call recording records and stores the data from outbound calls only. This has different benefits to the other types of call recording, but which one you choose depends on your business and requirements. If you chose to go with hardware call recording we will always provide call recording devices when you buy the product. This can be built into your computer or phone system so none of your hardware has to change unless you would like to purchase a new phone system where call recording is already on it.
